Tackle Football Registration - Pathway to Competition
Registration for 2023 Is OPEN
This season our Junior Bantam, Bantam, and Midget players will partake in our 'Raiders Pathway to Competition' weekly practices on Tuesday and Thursday. This will include group conditioning and skill development lead by our seasoned coaching staff, as well as individual teamwork for each level.
Registration for Bantam and Midget teams must be completed prior to July 31st to ensure team declarations are made to the league by the deadline.

Due to some changes passed down from the league, all club registration will be in the PowerUp platform.

2023 Junior Bantam Tackle Football (Born 2010-2011)
This co-ed, contact football program is for all players aged 12-13. In this division the focus is on safe contact and starting more position specific skill development. Players will continue to learn football fundamentals, teamwork and sportsmanship, as they develop into young athletes. We will join the VICFA league and play games across the Island.
Based on our registration during 2022, we are anticipating two Jr Bantam teams again this season. Assuming that this is the case, the players will spend August conditioning, learning skills, performing drills, and will be assessed by the coaching staff before being assigned to a team at the end of the month (Silver (primarily 2010) or Black (primarily 2011)).
It is important to note that practices will bring all players together to condition and run drills so that all players receive the same training and are able to benefit from the coaching staff as a whole.
All player equipment and jerseys will be provided – players must provide their own cleats, mouth guard, water bottle.
Practices: Tuesday & Thursday 6-8pm
Games: Typically Saturday (Sundays are possible as game time/location will accommodate the league schedule released in early September)
Season: August 1 – November 4 (or dependent on playoff standing)
Field Location: Bill Moore Field, Courtenay
Registration Fees: $425
(BCPFA/Football Canada Fees of $38 may apply if you have not yet paid them for 2023)

2023 Bantam Tackle Football (Born 2008-2009)
This co-ed, contact football program is for all players aged 14-15. In this division the focus is on safe contact and developing position specific skill. Players will continue to learn football fundamentals, teamwork and sportsmanship, as they develop into young athletes. We will join the VMFL league and play games across the Island and on the mainland.
All player equipment and jerseys will be provided – players must provide their own cleats, mouth guard, water bottle.
Bantam registration fees include transportation to games south of Nanaimo and on the mainland.
Practices: Tuesday & Thursday 6-9pm
Games: Typically Sunday (game time and location will accommodate the home team)
Season: August 1 – November 4 (or dependent on playoff standing)
Field Location: Bill Moore Field, Courtenay
Registration Fees: $475 (players will be required to purchase their own girdle at time of registration unless they already own one)

2023 Midget Tackle Football (Born 2005-2007)
This co-ed, contact football program is for all players aged 16-18. This division is more competitive and skills focused than our younger divisions. Players will continue to learn football fundamentals, teamwork and sportsmanship in this exciting division. We will join the VMFL league and play games across the Island and on the mainland.
All player equipment and jerseys will be provided – players must provide their own cleats, mouth guard, water bottle.
Midget registration fees include transportation to all games south of Nanaimo and to the mainland.
