This co-ed, contact football program is open to players aged 12–13. Emphasizing safe contact and the start of position-specific skill development, players continue building football fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship as they grow into young athletes.

We compete in the VICFA league, traveling for games across Vancouver Island. VICFA encourages clubs to field 12-player teams in this division—this is our target.

Schedule & Season Info

• Practices:

  • Regular Season: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6–8 PM

  • Pre-season (Summer): Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays, 6–8 PM

• Games:

  • Typically on Saturdays; Sundays possible, based on league schedule (released early September)

• Season Duration:

  • July 29 – mid-November (depending on playoff standings)

• Field:

  • Bill Moore Field, Courtenay

Gear & Fees

• Provided: All player equipment and jerseys (Raiders Football Gear Deposit Form required); bus travel to one away game

• Players Bring: Cleats, mouthguard, water bottle

• Registration Fee: $425

• Note: A one-time BCPFA/Football Canada fee of $38 may apply if not yet paid for 2025

Team Capacity & Roster Selection

• Maximum Roster: 32 players (per VICFA rules)

• Max Registrations Accepted: 45 (based on gear availability)

Not all registered players are guaranteed a roster spot. Those who do not make the 32-player roster may:

• Join our in-house Peewee division (if eligible)

• Stay on as part of the practice squad

Both groups continue to receive gear, coaching, and development opportunities. Registration fee differences will be refunded accordingly.
