Winter Conditioning & Football Training

Winter training 2023

**The Raiders will not be hosting a 2023 Winter Training session due to space and staff availability. **

If you are interested in participating in some off-season football training, we recommend the VI North Football Academy which is hosted by the BCPFA. This program focuses on athlete and coach development and will be held in February and March.

Our off-season training is offered in a gym environment and is focused on strength, conditioning, fitness development and football skills growth. Our training programs run during the winter months (January - March).

Our program is built with a structured workout plan for each session. The key developments we focus on for all levels include: increased football skills; increased physical endurance; building teamwork and leadership skills; maintaining a safe and fun atmosphere for growth.

Our Junior Raiders (ages ~9-13) practice in a gymnasium setting with their coaches and work towards their personal fitness goals, building stamina, and strengthening their football skills through drills.

Our Senior Raiders (ages ~14-18) focus on conditioning at a fitness facility. Our training program focuses on building strength and endurance to enhance our tackle players and anyone interested in focusing on their health in a fun setting.
